Setup & support
Most players are on screen within 10 minutes. If anything gets stuck, call 570-213-9515 and you'll reach the people who built it.
Setting up your GHH Signage Player
- Connect the HDMI cable from the player to your TV. On a Raspberry Pi 4, use the HDMI port closest to the power port.
- Connect the network. Plug in an Ethernet cable, or use the Wi-Fi we set up from your order.
- Plug in the power supply that came in the box. Use only the official supply; phone chargers cause random reboots.
- Turn the TV to the right HDMI input. Within a few minutes the player appears under Your screens in your account.
- Sign in at signs.ghhtech.net with your GHH Tech email and password, upload a picture, and assign it to the screen.
Changing Wi-Fi
Moving the player or changed your Wi-Fi password? Power the player off, remove the SD card, and put it in any computer. Open the file signmon-wifi.txt and change these lines:
WIFI_SSID="YourNetworkName" WIFI_PASS="YourWiFiPassword"
Save, put the card back, and power up. Or call us and we'll walk you through it.
Using your own Raspberry Pi
Order the GHH Signage SD card and it arrives linked to your account. Insert it in a Raspberry Pi 4 or 5, then follow the steps above. Your account code (shown on your account page) is already on the card.
Screen problems
- Black screen: check the TV input, then unplug the player's power for 10 seconds and plug it back in.
- Player keeps restarting: almost always the power supply. Use the official one from the box.
- Old content showing: the player may be offline. Check its status in your account. It keeps playing its last content until it reconnects.
Billing
Update your card, change your plan or cancel anytime from My account. See pricing for how monthly billing works.
